TMS 2019
KLA and our partners will present four nanomechanical testing papers at TMS 2019: High speed nanomechanical property mapping and data deconvolution (ARCI); Exploring accurate structure, composition and mechanical properties of η carbides in high tungsten iron-base alloy: High-throughput mapping and DFT calculations (Kunming University); Measuring stress-strain curves of metals by nanoindentation with a frustum (KLA); and Nanoindentation of PVD hard coatings at elevated temperatures and high strain rates (KLA). In addition to exhibiting at booth 327, KLA will sponsor the Bladesmithing Competition and the Materials and Manufacturing Innovation Keynote Session, focusing on autonomous materials research. TMS 2019 will connect minerals, metals and materials scientists and engineers who work in industry, academia and government positions around the world. The event will draw more than 4,000 scientists and engineers and will feature four full days of technical programming, more than 80 symposia, two poster sessions and networking opportunities.
